The NBA has announced the top three finalists for regular season MVP.
The Serbian player from Denver in the running Nikola Jokic Cameroonian center “Philadelphia” Joel Embid and Greek striker “Milwaukee” Giannis Antetokounmpo .
The same three finalists were last season. Then, as a result, Jokic became the winner of the nomination, Embiid took second place, Antetokounbo – third.
Jokic could become the first player to win three consecutive MVP awards since Hall of Famer Larry Bird in 1984-86.
The winner will be announced early next week.
