The United Continental League is the first professional 3×3 basketball league in Europe and a unique project where the sports component, the entertainment program and the best locations offer players and spectators the opportunity to touch a world-class sporting event.
The total price for the fifth season is 2,500,000 rubles. In addition, the league has retained the possibility of international participation – following the results of the tournament, the top two teams will win tickets to Serbia.
The third round of the “Gods” division will take place in St. Petersburg on April 28-29.
This is the decisive round before the final phase, in which only the 8 best teams of the season will qualify. The best teams from Russia and the Republic of Belarus will fight for the title of winner of the regular season and a ticket to the Serbian STREETBALL 3×3 ELITE tournament, and a spectacular and breathtaking throwing contest will be a separate part of the program. Petersburger Ilya Gerasimov and Muscovites Maxim Barsukov and Artem Rumyantsev will show their talents there.
Additionally, the League of Strong People takes place during the season. This is an all-Russian 3×3 wheelchair basketball tournament, organized by the United Continental League in collaboration with the Russian Basketball Federation (RBF) inclusive project Quiet! basketball”.
The guests of the event will be the president of the basketball club “PARMA” Sergey Stanislavovich Boguslavsky, the general secretary of the RFB Natalya Andreevna Vodopyanova and the general director of the Center for Modern Sports Technologies of the company Rosenergoatom, adviser to the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Sergey Gennadyevich Fomin.
