President Lokomotiv Kuban Andrei Vedischev told that the team will try to complete the VTB United League semi-final series in the sixth game in Krasnodar.
On Tuesday, Lokomotiv-Kuban beat CSKA in Moscow in the fifth game of the United League semi-finals (85:68). The series score became 3–2 in favor of the railroad.
– Lokomotiv-Kuban are basically one step away from reaching the final. What do you think about it?
Yes, we are ready for that. For us now, the most important thing is to restore the players in a functional way. Such a context has already begun – the fifth game in ten days. Very tight schedule and very complicated logistics. It is therefore very important to recover functionally. And we have to resume the game at home, not tempt fate and try to finish this story in Krasnodar. We have to come together now and send emotions to the game ahead. We all understand and realize that we have a chance,” Vedischev told a correspondent.
The sixth game will take place on April 28 in Krasnodar.
