An expanded composition of the national Russian team in basketball for the upcoming training camp in Novogorsk, according to the official website of the Russian Basketball Federation (RBF).
The collection will take place from May 28 to June 12. The expanded roster includes 24 players:
defenders: Mikhail Belenitsky (Nizhny Novgorod), Zakhar Vedischev, Vladislav Yemchenko, Alexander Shcherbenev (all – Lokomotiv-Kuban), Timofey Gerasimov (Yenisei), Daniil Kasatkin, Makar Konovalov (both – MBA), Samson Ruzhentsev (CSKA), Yuri Umrikhin (Samara);
forward: Maxim Barashkov (Samara), Filipp Gafurov (CSKA-2), Pavel Zemsky (Zenit), Anton Kvitkovskikh, Yegor Sychkov (both from Lokomotiv Kuban), Andrey Lopatin, Ilya Platonov (both MBA), Danila Pokhodyaev (PARMA) , Alexander Chadov (Nizhny Novgorod);
center: Kirill Elatontsev, Andrey Martyuk, Artem Oreshnikov (all – Lokomotiv-Kuban), Sergey Klyuev, Maxim Savchenko (both – MBA), Yegor Ryzhov (Zenit).
Six other players are on the reserve list: defenders Ivan Zaitsev, Vadim Shirinkin (both CSKA-2), Vitalius Pranauskis (Avtodor), Alexander Khomenko, Timofey Yakushin (both MBA) and center Sergei Balashov (Enisey).
Head coach Zoran Lukic and his assistants Sergey Kozin and Alexander Polinkevich will work with the team in training camp.
