Athletistic/Basketball. CSKA basketball club head coach Emil Raikovich commented on his team’s loss in the VTB United League semi-final playoff against Lokomotiv-Kuban.
On May 1, the decisive game of the series took place, in which Lokomotiv defeated CSKA with the score of 103:100 (OT).
Rajkovic praised Lokomotiv for reaching the final and noted that injury issues for key players such as Shved and Milutinov prevented the team from showing their potential. He also noted that in a series of seven matches, an important factor was physical condition, which turned out to be better for Lokomotiv players.
Rajkovic admitted that the team failed to cope with the pressure and lost the game, despite having been a great basketball team all season. He noted that the team should have handled the pressure better and regrets that a bad stretch ruined all the team’s hard work for the season.
