Shved’s agent told the details of the attack on the CSKA basketball player in Moscow

Those who attacked the defender of Moscow CSKA Alexei Shved were in an inadequate state, said the agent of the Russian basketball player Obrad Fimich.

On Tuesday, CSKA reported that Shved suffered a head injury following an attack by hooligans in Moscow. He was taken to hospital, police are investigating the incident. On Monday, the Red-Blues lost to Krasnodar club Lokomotiv-Kuban in Game 7 of the VTB United League playoff semi-finals.

– After the game, Alexey and his wife went to a restaurant in central Moscow. After dinner they went out, where a group of young people started bullying them for no reason. The guys were clearly in an inadequate state. My client knew about this, so he wanted to disperse calmly, because Alexey himself is a modest and peaceful person. But the men were determined to start a fight. As a result, after delivering blows to the head area, Alexei fell, hitting his head on the pavement. He received an open cranio-cerebral lesion with fractures of the bones of the skull and a contusion of the brain!

Thank God he survived. It may have helped that he was a professional athlete who trains every day to the limit. I can say that such behavior in modern society is unacceptable. Civilized people should be able to communicate without dissolving their hands, prefer mercy to violence.

In my opinion, aggressors should be punished according to their actions. I hope they are found and the case is brought to a successful conclusion,” Fimich wrote on the social network.

The Swede has played 34 games for CSKA this season, averaging 16.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game.
