UNICS beat St. Petersburg “Zenith” in Game 7 of the VTB United League semi-final series and advanced to the final.
The meeting in Kazan ended with a score of 80:79 in favor of the hosts, in which Nenad Dimitrievich scored 24 points. The losers scored a double-double Thomas Ertel (23 points and 11 assists), Adrien Moerman scored 17 points.
In the final, UNICS will face Krasnodar club Lokomotiv-Kuban, who also beat CSKA Moscow in seven games. Zenit lost the chance to defend the title.
