UNICS forward Andrei Vorontsevich did not rule out that after the end of his playing career, he will work as a coach or sports commentator.
– When you give instructions to your teammates during a match, it looks very convincing from the outside. Have you thought about a coaching career in the future?
– Why not? I can and will succeed. I’m sure that the experience I have I can pass on to the players. In principle, I try to do this even now, being at UNICS. From the side of the captain, from the side of the “senior researcher”, as I call it, I try to explain all this in a good word and charge the guys with positive emotions.
– Probably, you will also be a good sports commentator.
“Yes, anything is possible. You understand that a talented person is talented in everything. The main thing is to do everything with your heart and not pretend. When you try to be something you’re not, that’s already a travesty. Therefore, it is important to do everything with heart and love. Then you will also be fair and honest with others,” Vorontsevich told a correspondent.
UNICS will compete for the VTB United League title with Lokomotiv-Kuban. The series begins on May 6 in Kazan.
