The final leg of the fifth season of the United Continental Basketball League 3X3 will take place in St. Petersburg. The Gods Division regular season is over, only the playoffs remain. On May 17, the MTS Live Hall (80 Primorsky Avenue) will not only host a celebration of basketball, but a real sports concert!
The theme of the evening will be Chukotka: its history, its culture, as well as its unique energy – in every way. You can experience the world’s first floating nuclear thermal power plant “Akademik Lomonosov”, based near the town of Pevek. FNPP Akademik Lomonosov and ECL have a lot in common: an innovative approach, leadership in their fields and unique know-how.
The musical accompaniment of the finale will be provided by well-known representatives of the Russian rap scene: the energetic rapper Nedra, the eloquent fellow FRIENDLY THUG 52 NGG and the unique charismatic ALBLAK 52, as well as members of the Jump cover band and the world’s first ethno-rock band GUBERNATOR.
Of course, there are also dance routines from the NEEDLES CHEERLEADING TEAM, a dunk competition with the best masters in the country and competitions for the whole family between matches.
The quarter-final grid looks like this: COP “BAD BOYS”, the winners of the regular season, have Minsk-Belarus as rivals. “INANOMO” will play with LNPP, “BIONORD” with “Samara”, the last pair was formed by “Runa” and “Guns N Balls”.
COP BAD BOYS has already won a ticket to Serbia for the STREETBALL 3×3 ELITE tournament, the fate of the second will be decided by the results of the final. In addition, the winning team will receive 500,000 rubles, the second place prize will be 350,000 rubles, and the third place prize will be 150,000 rubles.
For those who want to spend not one but two basketball evenings at the MTS Live Hall, the day before the final, May 16, will be held a women’s tournament with the participation of the best teams in the country. The start of its games is at 3:00 p.m.
