leader Dmitry Khvostov signed a new contract with the basketball club “Paris Nizhny Novgorod” according to the team’s press office.
The deal with the 33-year-old basketball player is for three years.
Khvostov has been playing for Nizhny Novgorod team since 2021. In 2022/23 season, his average stats over 28 VTB United League games are 6.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists per match.
Previously, Khvostov defended the colors of St. Petersburg “Zenith”, Krasnodar club “Lokomotiv-Kuban”, suburban “Khimki”, Moscow “Dynamo”. As part of Khimki, he won the European Cup in 2012, with the Russian team – bronze medalist of the Olympic Games (2012) and the European Championship (2011).
