CSKA-2 basketball head coach Badnyarevich died

At the age of 61, the head coach of CSKA-2 Predrag Badnyarevich died suddenly, reports the press service of the Moscow basketball club.

– The Serbian specialist raised a host of star basketball players, including famed sniper and NBA champion in Dallas Predrag Stojakovic, coached teams in Greece, Egypt, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Tunisia, in Bahrain, was the mentor of Russian national team head coach Zoran Lukic.

Badnyarevich led the Red-Blue double in the 2020/21 season, a year later under his leadership CSKA-2 achieved the best result in their history, taking sixth place in the Super League regular season. Predrag will be remembered as a true professional who knows how to realize the potential of everyone, even the most difficult players, a courageous and cheerful person.
