Athletistic/Basketball. CSKA basketball player Alexey Shved has confirmed his decision to continue his playing career.
On the night of May 2, Shved was attacked in a restaurant on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street in Moscow and suffered head injuries. The athlete was hospitalized, but on May 9 he was discharged from the hospital.
Today Shved attended the fifth game of the series for the third place of the VTB United League qualifiers against the team of Zenit (82:79).
“I feel good. I’m happy to be on the pitch. Next season I will return to the pitch as a player and continue my playing career,” Shved said in an interview with TASS.
CSKA won the series with “Zenith” 4-1 and became the bronze medalists in the championship.
