How well-deserved is this victory? When you become a champion then, of course, you deserve it. Each of the four teams that made it to the semi-finals deserved gold medals in principle. The series of semi-finals turned out to be just great, seven games there was a very tough fight.

Well, in the final, a lot depended on which team turned out to be the most successful, the best prepared and the most psychologically stable. UNICS was probably found to be more psychologically stable. Nevertheless, Lokomotiv had a great season: the team played very well.

The key game in the final was Game 2 of the series. Besides, Loko could have taken a 2-0 lead, but, fortunately for UNICS and unfortunately for the railway workers, Krasnodar ended the fourth quarter badly. In my opinion, this match predetermined the whole series. UNICS felt a psychological advantage after this game. Lokomotiv, however, felt the weight of responsibility. But they lost both home games by narrow margins.
