How the NBA Lottery draw is made
The process of nba lottery It starts with fourteen ping-pong balls numbered 1 to 14 being placed in a Lottery machine. There are 1,001 possible combinations when four balls are drawn out of 14, regardless of the order of selection. Before the Lottery, 1,000 of those 1,001 combinations are assigned to the 14 participating participating teams. All the balls are mixed in the lottery machine for 20 seconds, until the first one is drawn. The remaining balls are shuffled through the machine for another 10 seconds and then the second ball is drawn, and so on, until all four balls are drawn. The team assigned to that combination will receive the first pick in the draft. The same process is repeated for the second, third and fourth selection.
