Former Moscow basketball player CSKA Tornike Shengelia will sign a new deal with Italian club Virtus, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The contract with the 30-year-old striker will be for two years with the possibility of extension for another season. The Georgian player joined Virtus in early March, signing a contract until the end of the season. Prior to this, CSKA announced the end of cooperation with Shengelia on the initiative of the player.
Shengelia has been playing for CSKA since the summer of 2020. The basketball player has played 87 games for the Rouge-Bleu in the VTB United League and the Euroleague.
