Warriors NBA star Draymond Green was candid about the Boston Celtics’ loss to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Finals: “I like to watch”
Draymond Greenwhich defends the Golden State Warriors at NBAopened the game on the Celtics and the franchise’s elimination from the Eastern Conference Finals for the miami heat. In last Tuesday’s edition, 30, of his own podcast, the veteran fueled the rivalry with the Massachusetts team by making a controversial statement about his fans.
“I like to see the fans of the Celtics suffering”spiked Green. “These people were very rude to me last year and I like to see them suffer. And, frankly, for the second year in a row, in the big closing game, they suffer and try to make excuses. And I won’t listen to any of that, because you’re rude.”
O Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics in last year’s league finals. On the occasion, the Californian squad triumphed over their opponents in Game 6, winning the title away from home. “I’m living in their heads [torcedores]. They will spend all their time focused on me.”continued Green in a provocative tone.
So clearly I’m living rent free on their heads. It’s all in their heads. I don’t really pay attention to what they say. But, I haven’t heard a louder noise than in Cleveland. There it was much higher and [os fãs] they also said things. Cleveland people are more reckless and ruthless.”
In addition, the number 23 of the Warriors highlighted that the negative result obtained by the Celtics is a “response” to the attitude of their fans: “Stop being the way you are. At a certain point, you can’t be like that. So stop doing it. And you know what I’m talking about”. The NBA Finals will be played between denver nuggets and Miami Heat starting this Thursday, the 1st.
