The VTB United League plans to increase the number of participants in the Super Bowl which precedes the start of the season. This was announced to by the general manager of the tournament Ilona Korstin .
Last year, six teams took part in the United League Super Cup: UNICS, Lokomotiv-Kuban, CSKA, Zenit and Serbian Mega and Partizan
– As in the past two years, the start of the upcoming season’s regular season will precede the United League Super Bowl. Is there anything already known about its format and the composition of the participants?
– We plan the participation of Serbian teams, we want to make the Super Cup international and expand it. Attract more Russian teams there. Now we are working on these issues, at the moment we are negotiating on possible participants. Russian and foreign clubs will be here,” Korstin told .
