Offensive defender Lokomotiv Kuban Jaylen Barford is recognized as the best player in the VTB United League according to fans, reports the league’s press service.
The 27-year-old helped the team reach the United League final for the first time in 10 years, averaging 16.5 points scored per game. In the final series, Lokomotiv-Kuban lost to UNICS, for the Kazan team this was the first championship in history.
The American defender became a player of the Krasnodar club in the 2021/22 season, coming from Astana.
