One of Russia’s greatest basketball players, Nikolai Rogozhkin, has died aged 29. This was reported by the press service of the 3 × 3 team “Dirty Boys”, in which he played.
– One of the brightest, most unusual and talented centers that has played for our team has passed away. Nikolai’s sporting achievements are not his only good feature. Our condolences to family and friends,” the team said in a statement.
Rogozhkin’s height was 222 centimeters. The athlete began his professional career in the agricultural team of Khimki, he also represented the second team of UCAM Murcia, Tambov and Cheboksary Hawks.
