The sporting level of Russian players and clubs cannot increase in the face of the suspension of international tournaments, the president of the Russian Basketball Federation (RBF) said in an interview with Andrei Kirilenko .
Russian basketball teams and clubs are currently suspended from international competitions due to the situation in Ukraine. In the 2022/23 season, UNICS Kazan became the champions of the VTB United League, Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar took second place, and CSKA took third.
– Both suspended seasons turned out to be surprisingly beautiful and interesting. It turns out that our basketball was able to take some advantage of the current situation?
