Champion and NBA Finals MVP, Nikola Jokic made history once again and was leader in points, assists and rebounds in the playoffs
the serb Nikola Jokic has one more reason to celebrate the historic campaign of the denver nuggets, which won the first NBA title in history. The number 15 became the first in the entire league to lead the main individual stats in the playoffs.
Jokic recorded the most points, rebounds and assists during the 2022/23 postseason games. The Serbian was just 0.5 assists away from scoring an average triple-double per game: 30 points, 9.5 assists and 13.5 rebounds.
With the 4-1 triumph over the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, Denver played 20 games in the playoffs. Thus, the Serbian scored 600 points, had 190 assists and 270 rebounds and was at the top of the list of players with the best numbers in the postseason.
Finals MVP, Nikola Jokic is the center with the most triple-doubles in NBA history, now with 121. In 2022/23, the Serbian reached the double-digit mark in three individual statistics in 29 opportunities.
