VTB League club Lokomotiv Kuban extended contract with basketball player Akun-Purcell

The new agreement will be valid for the 2023/24 season.

In total, Akun-Purcell played 27 games for the railway, and in 20 of them he came out in the starting lineup. He averaged 25 minutes in the field, averaging 13.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals.

The 30-year-old basketball player joined the Krasnodar team from Galatasaray during the season in December and with him reached the final of the VTB United League, where he lost to Kazan UNICS with a score of 1-4 in the series.

In 2018, Akun-Purcell played in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets.
