Kazansky UNICS signed a contract with a defender Dmitry Kulagin according to the club’s press office.
The deal with the Euroleague champion and three-time VTB United League winner is for two years.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Zenit press service announced the termination of the over-the-counter contract with the 30-year-old basketball player.
Kulagin has been with Zenit since 2021. Last season in the VTB United League, the basketball player averaged 6.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 19.5 minutes on the court.
Previously, Kulagin also played for CSKA Moscow, Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Triumph Lyubertsy and Krasnye Krylia Samara. He played 35 matches for the Russian national team.
