CSKA extends contracts with three basketball players

Moscow CSKA extended contracts with basketball players Semyon Antonov , Ivan Ukhov And Anton Astapkovich said the club’s press office.

Antonov and Ukhov will continue to play for the army until at least 2025, Astapkovich – until 2026.

– I’m grateful to all the guys for meeting the club halfway in financial matters during a difficult time. I heard from everyone that for them the priority is to play for CSKA, and not the possibility of momentary advantages. The club’s patriotism is quite a rare phenomenon in our time, we are happy to have such players in the roster and even happier to keep them in the team for longer,” said club president Andrey Vatutin.

Antonov played for CSKA for seven seasons, with the team he won the Euroleague and four times the VTB United League.

Ukhov has been playing for CSKA since 2018, twice becoming a United League champion and winning the Euroleague.

Astapkovich graduated from the army youth academy.
