Under the circumstances, we believe that a 25-game suspension is appropriate and clearly demonstrates that recklessness and

removes the circumstances that caused him to repeat this destructive behavior, NBA commissioner Adam Silver said in a statement.
In March, the NBA suspended Morant for eight games without pay for “conduct detrimental to the league.” The reason for the disqualification was an incident involving Morant, who demonstrated a firearm during a social media show.
