Former NBA player, delonte west went viral on social media this week after it was filmed in the United States. It turns out that he appeared in the images begging for alms from drivers on the streets of the city of Alexandria, in the southeastern state of Virginia, which caused a great astonishment in those who followed his career in the basketball franchise.

In the images it is possible to see that he appears holding a cardboard and greets the driver who recognized him and recorded the video. Since he turned to drugs, it has been nothing new to see the former player’s fans meeting him on the streets. The scenes are always the same, with him asking for money and help at the headlights.
The former player even played for nine seasons in the NBA, playing even alongside established names in the sport, such as LeBron James. Despite the amazement of basketball fans, this was not the first time that Delonte West was seen on the streets of the United States begging drivers for alms.
In 2016, the former guard was seen barefoot and in tattered clothes in a parking lot in Houston, Texas. After drug addiction became public, the former player even got some medical help, which was even paid for by the owner of the Mavericks, but he ended up abandoning treatment and returned to the streets.
