President of PBC CSKA Andrey Vatutin talked about the qualities Emile Raikovitch prompted the management of the army club to appoint a specialist to the position of head coach of the team.
The 43-year-old Macedonian coach’s contract is calculated until the end of the 2023/24 season. Raikovich previously led the Saratovs “Avtodor” and “Astana”.

One of the factors in this progression is the desire to master the Russian language perfectly, which Emil already speaks well. Additionally, Rajkovic has worked for VTB League teams for the past four seasons – which is especially important now that we won’t be playing in the Euroleague – he knows the players, the coaches and many nuances of the game very well in tournament. . We wish Emil to quickly settle in a new place and become a co-author of new big victories for CSKA. In turn, the club will do everything possible to make the coach feel like part of the club family.
