Kazan basketball club UNICS has extended the contract with French striker Louis Labery until the end of the 2024/25 season, the team’s press service reports.
Labery joined UNICS in July 2022 and became the VTB United League champion with the club. The 31-year-old Frenchman averaged 11.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 30 minutes on the field in 49 regular season and VTB United League playoff games last season.
Last season, UNICS became the champion of the VTB United League for the first time in history. In the last playoff, Kazan defeated Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar with a score of 4-1.
