Branislav Vichentic quit as Saratov head coach Avtodor due to contract expiration, according to the basketball club’s website.
The Serbian specialist led Avtodor in January, replacing compatriot Darko Russo. In the 2022/23 season, the Saratov team took second place in Group B of the VTB United League regular season. In the first round playoff Avtodor lost to CSKA Moscow 0-3.
Avtodor thanks Branislav for his time in Saratov and wishes him every success in the future.
Next season two new clubs will compete in the United League – Runa from Moscow and Uralmash from Yekaterinburg.
