Dejan Davidovac performed well in the team CSKA but the Moscow club will be able to find a worthy replacement for him, the honored Russia coach tells Sergei Elevitch commenting on the attacker’s departure to the Serb “Red Star” .
Earlier, CSKA’s press service reported that Davidovac left the club. The 28-year-old basketball player joined Serbian Crvena Zvezda, with whom he signed a three-year contract. He previously played for Red Star from 2015 to 2022.
– The fact that Davidovac is gone is his right. He wants to play in the Euroleague. Crvena Zvezda will play in this tournament. CSKA’s problem, of course, is that they currently don’t play in the Euroleague. And so far, unfortunately, we won’t see it there. As for Davidovac, he is a good attacker, with an excellent shot, he works well in defense. As part of the “red-blue” he showed himself very well. But what to do? We have to look for something new. But I think that all the same, the army team will find worthy players. They have the opportunity to do that,” Yelevich told a correspondent.
Davidovac has been defending the colors of the army team since the summer of 2022. As part of CSKA, the Serb played 47 games, averaging 7.1 points and 3.6 rebounds.
