Lokomotiv-Kuban defender Vladislav Yemchenko has told that he would be interested in meeting UNICS in the first round of the new VTB United League season.
Previously, the VTB United League published the 2023/24 regular season schedule on its official website. The season kicks off on September 30 with a match between league champion UNICS Kazan and playoff runners-up Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar. In the final series, Loko lost to the Kazan team with a score of 1–4.

In the first stage of the season, 14 teams will hold a two-round tournament – each will play with each other (home and away), after which the teams will be divided into two groups – group A (teams that have taken 1 -6 places) and group B (7-14 places). The first leg of the regular season will end on February 4.
As part of the second stage, the teams will play against each other in groups for two more rounds. Group A teams go straight to the playoffs. The top four teams from Group B will play a qualifying round for the two remaining spots in the playoffs.
