Men’s team Russia in basketball will play two friendly games with the team Iran as part of the training camp, according to the official website of the Russian Basketball Federation (RBF).
Zoran Lukic’s team will start training on July 23 in Moscow, on August 3 the team will travel to Perm, where on August 7 and 9 there will be meetings with the Iranians.
Previously, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) suspended the national teams of Russia and Belarus from participating in competitions under the auspices of the organization, as a result, the national teams could not participate in the qualifying tournaments for the Cup of the world. The Russian team was not allowed to participate in the pre-qualifying tournament for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
