The Boston Bruins have signed basketball player Kristaps Porzingis.

Boston Celtics agreed to extend the contract with the striker Kristaps Porzingis according to the NBA club press service.

Earlier there were reports that Porzingis will sign a new two-year contract, for which he will earn $60 million. The Latvian player became a Celtics player at the end of June in a three-way trade involving Memphis.

Porzingis was selected by the New York Knicks with the fourth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. The 27-year-old played in 402 career games and averaged 19.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1 .8 assists and 1.8 blocks.
