Defender Vitaly Fridzon left the basketball club “Zenith” according to the team’s press office.
Fridzon moved to Zenit in the summer of 2020 and left the team a year after the contract expired. From June 2021 to March 2022, the basketball player was without a club. At the end of June, the Saint Petersburg club signed a new contract with the defender.
As part of the Blue-White-Blues, Fridzon became the VTB United League champion. Previously he played for Khimki near Moscow, Moscow CSKA, Krasnodar Lokomotiv-Kuban, became the Euroleague champion. As a member of the Russian national team, Fridzon won bronze at the London Olympics.
