Cleveland wins NBA Summer League title

Houston forward Cam Whitmore is MVP of the tournament

cleveland for the first time in its history won Summer League of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Cavaliers in the final match beat Houston (99:78). The third quarter was decisive, which Cleveland won by a margin of 13 points, depriving the opponents of the chance to win back.

Cavaliers forward Isaiah Mobley led the game with 28 points and 11 rebounds. Houston’s forward Cam Whitmore was named tournament MVP after averaging 20.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in five games before the final.

Cleveland were eliminated in the Eastern Conference playoff quarterfinals last season, losing to New York. Denver became the NBA champion.
