On Friday, the VTB League announced that Fenerbahce and Besiktas will participate in the Super Bowl. Six Russian teams will also take part in the tournament: UNICS, Lokomotiv-Kuban, CSKA, Zenit, Pari Nizhny Novgorod and MBA.
– If strong clubs participate in one of our tournaments, then that’s great. Especially clubs of this level. So I think that’s very good. Sport must federate. And I think that directly on the sporting level, it will be something positive. It’s important for basketball,” Eremin told a correspondent.
The 2023 Super Cup matches will take place from September 21-24 in Moscow at the VTB Arena.
