NBA Board of Governors Approves Michael Jordan Sale to Charlotte Hornets

The Board of Governors of the National Basketball Association (NBA) has approved the sale of the club “Charlotte Hornets” whose main owner is a six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan reports PA .

According to the agency, the club will come under the control of a group led by Rick Schnell and Gabe Plotkin.

“This decision ended Jordan’s 13-year tenure as majority franchise owner. He will remain a minority owner of Charlotte.

According to ESPN, the sale of the Hornets will be around $3 billion. Jordan bought a majority stake in Charlotte in 2010 for $275 million.
