Sergei Karasev extended the contract with “Zenith” according to the basketball team’s press service.
The deal with the player is for two years.
– Sergei’s return to Zenit a year ago benefited both the club and the player. Therefore, the extension of the contract makes perfect sense. Sergey played the end of the season at a very high level, but I’m sure it’s far from his full potential,” the team’s press service quoted Zenit general manager Alexander Tserkovny as saying.
In the 2021/22 season, Zenit became the VTB United League champions for the first time, beating CSKA 4-3 in the final series.
