According to the source, the club intend to strengthen the centre’s position, and Capella is seen as one of the options.

Clint Capella signed with the Hawks in the 2020-2021 season. The deal is for two years and $46 million.

It is speculated that Capella could form a duo with Karl-Anthony Towns, who would play the role of a power forward.

Capella averaged 11.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 0.8 steals per game in 76 games for Atlanta last season.

At the end of the last NBA season, Minnesota lost in the first round of the Memphis series playoffs (2-4).
