Stephen Currystar of NBA fur Golden State Warriorswas surprised by a call from Barack Obama, former President of the United States. The call came while the point guard was still on the court after winning the victory and league title in Game 6, against Boston Celtics. Curry had interrupted an interview he was doing on television to answer the phone.
“Thanks a lot, man. You know, since the last time I saw him, how far away this (title) seemed. So, man, this was special and I thank you. I wish I could say that on TV! So what will they say now? Anything. All they could say is that the golf season has arrived.”said the star, during the call.

Longtime friends in golf matches and partners during meetings to discuss projects aimed at the black American population, Obama also celebrated the 30 shirt and his franchise trophy on Twitter: “With four titles in eight years, the warriors leaves no doubt of its place as one of the greatest dynasties in the NBA. Congratulations to Finals MVP Steph, Draymond, Klay, coach Kerr and the rest of Dub Nation for this sustained excellence.”
PARTY IN SAN FRANCISCO
During the celebration of the NBA title won by the Golden State Warriors, Klay Thompson, the team’s guard and one of the main players in the league, ended up tripping and “running over” a fan, who fell to the ground. The accident in San Francisco was recorded by video, which went viral on the web throughout the week.
With 1.98 meters tall and 98 kilos, the player lost his balance during the celebration and ended up colliding directly with the woman. Immediately, Klay helped her to her feet, apologized and returned to celebrate the team’s seventh NBA title (over the Boston Celtics, in a 4-2 series) with the other fans present.
With four championships in eight years, the @Warriors leave no doubt of their place as one of the NBA’s greatest dynasties. Congrats to Finals MVP Steph, Draymond, Klay, Coach Kerr and the rest of Dub Nation for such sustained excellence.
