Uruguay 80 – Colombia 65
The Orientals were left out of the other equivalent matches in Group B. After a first period in which Colombia converted 27 points, Jauri’s men came back and went down to the minimum at halftime. Uruguay managed to get the win in the last 5 minutes of the game, after imposing a 23-5 run in their favor.
In the winning team, Joaquín Rodriguez added 19 points and 7 rebounds. Martín Rojas also did well, reaching a double-double with 10 points and 12 boards. The scorer of the match was found on the other side, and it was Michaell Jackson with 28 goals.

This Tuesday, August 15, Group A will have a free day. Group B will continue in Vicente Rosales. The action begins at 6:10 pm, when the Virgin Islands and Colombia cross on the first turn. Next, Chile and Uruguay face each other on the same stage, starting at 8:40 pm
