Earlier on Thursday, the UNICS press service announced the signing of a contract with Belgian national team center Ismael Bako. The agreement with the 27-year-old basketball player is calculated according to the “1+1” scheme.
Last season, Bako defended the colors of Italian Virtus, won the country’s Super Cup and also became a runner-up in the National Cup and runners-up in Italy.
In the 2022/23 Euroleague season, the center played 34 games, averaging 6.1 points and 2.7 rebounds.
