In a game mainly dominated by the Greeks, Jordan knew how to stay on guard and try in the second quarter to dominate the game. It did not reach the Jordanians and they ended the first game with a loss.
Greece dominated the game from the second half, securing victory by 21 points difference. Thanks in part to Giannoulis Larentzakis who scored 19 points and dished out 3 assists. Although the standout was Nikos Rogkavopoulos with 10 points and 7 rebounds, he was the standout of the game.
The standout in Jordan was forward Rondae Hollis Jefferson who finished with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists.
