CSKA head coach Raikovich explained why he parted ways with assistants Yudin and Godlevsky

The head coach CSKA Emile Raikovitch said in an interview with that his former assistants Anton Yudin and Denis Godlevsky have chosen their own career paths and their successors would be more useful to the team.

Rajkovic was appointed CSKA head coach last June. In the 2022/2023 season, the military team under his leadership became VTB United League bronze medalists. At the end of the regular season, Rajkovic was named Coach of the Year for the second time. CSKA won 30 in 32 matches and took first place in the regular championship championship.

– Why did not the assistants Yudin and Godlevsky suit you? The first worked at CSKA for 9 years, the second for 8 years. Both are no longer working.

– “Not arranged” – is badly said. They have their own way. I can’t say for them which one, but both ended the contract, they were considering options. Good professionals, who carried out the work in a professional manner, helped a lot. We talked and parted peacefully, I wish them good luck. Now I am assisted by people I have invited, they know my methodology and my requirements. For business, I think it’s more useful,” Raikovich said as quoted by .

Currently, the Macedonian CSKA specialist is assisted by coaches Marko Velichkovich (Serbia), Oleg Bartunov, Sergey Tkachenko, Pavel Gerasimov (all Russians) and Sasho Todorovski (North Macedonia).
