The head coach CSKA Emile Raikovitch spoke to about his personal motivation for the upcoming basketball season.
Rajkovic was appointed CSKA head coach last June. In the 2022/23 season, CSKA under his leadership became bronze medalists of the VTB United League. At the end of the regular season, Rajkovic was named Coach of the Year for the second time. CSKA won 30 in 32 matches and took first place in the regular season. Additionally, the army team set five VTB United League records: best start to a season (24-0), longest winning streak (24 wins in a row), 30 wins in a regular season, 14 games with 100 or more points scored and the best performance of the regular season (95.6 points per game).
The main CSKA players left CSKA this summer: Nikola Milutinovic, Alexey Shved, Dejan Davidovac, Devonte Kaykok and Dallas Moore.
