The national teams of Slovenia and Germany have qualified for the 1/4 finals of the World Basketball Championship ahead of schedule

The Slovenians beat the Australian team on Friday with a score of 91:80 (28:18, 21:22, 17:22, 25:18). Luka Doncic scored 19 points for the winners, while Mike Tobey had a double-double (18 points and 12 rebounds). The Australians have 25 points thanks to Josh Giddy.

Earlier, the German national team beat the Georgian team – 100:73 (22:16, 21:25, 27:16, 30:16).

The Slovenians and the Germans, playing in Group K, scored eight points each and reached the quarter-finals with one round remaining in the second group stage.
