Athletistic/Basketball. The Latvian national team won a convincing victory against the Brazil team in the group stage match of the 2023 World Cup. The final score is 104:84 (22:20, 23:22, 36: 21, 23:21) in favor of the Latvians.
The most productive player among the winners was forward Andrei Grazhulis, who scored 24 points (11 of 15 hits from the field, two of three from behind the arc), and also had five assists and two shots blocked.
This victory guaranteed the Latvian national team a place in the championship playoffs.
