O Brazil will compete in the basketball pre-Olympics for Paris 2024. With the victory of Canada regarding the Spainby 88 to 85, the Brazilian team did not get the second Olympic spot in the Americas via the Basketball World Cup.
The Canadians staged a heroic comeback in the last period to eliminate the Spaniards, advance to the quarterfinals of the World Cup and, of course, get the Olympic spot for the Games in France next year.

Brazil loses to Latvia and is eliminated in the World Cup
Brazil is eliminated from the Basketball World Cup. On the morning of this Sunday, 03, the selection commanded by coach Gustaf de Conti was defeated by 104 to 84 by Latvia and said goodbye to the World Cup. The Brazilian team managed to maintain balance in the match until the beginning of the third quarter, but could not hold back the rivals’ momentum.
