“Serbian player Borisa Simanić, who is in the Makati Medical Center hospital in Manila due to an injury sustained in the match in the third round of the World Cup group stage, underwent another operation yesterday. After Simanić underwent surgery for the first time in on the night of August 30-31, doctors monitored the recovery after the operation and decided that due to complications, a new operation was necessary.

Regarding the new operation and state of health of Borisa Simanić, the doctor of the Serbian national team, prof. said Dr. Dragan Radovanović: Due to complications with the damaged kidney that appeared in the postoperative period, Borisa Simanić underwent another operation on September 3. Due to changes in the vitality of the kidney tissue, it was necessary to remove the entire kidney surgically. . We hope and wish that after this operation the postoperative period will be smooth”
