Brazil will have a new chance at the 2024 Basketball Pre-Olympics to participate in the Paris Games of the same year; see who the green and yellow team will face in the tournament
O Brazil was deleted from Basketball World Cupbut the fight goes on Pre-Olympic of 2024. Through the competition, the green and yellow team will seek a vacancy for the paris games of the same year. PRE-OLYMPIC SELECTIONS
The tournament will feature 24 countries in total. The other four squads will still be defined according to the 2023 World Cup, whose quarterfinals will be: Italy x USA, Germany x Latvia, Lithuania x Serbia and Canada x Slovenia. The matches of the World Cup will be played from this Tuesday, 5.
A FIBA has not yet revealed the venue(s) and dates of the Basketball Pre-Olympics. It is worth noting that Argentina, the 2004 gold medalist, is out of the Paris Games. The Albiceleste got the worst in the final of the American qualifying for the Bahamas team. For this year’s World Cup, South Sudan, the United States, Canada, Japan and Australia have already secured their ticket to next year’s Olympics.
